Living on an island thirty miles out to sea provides me with endless inspiration—whether it be marine life, the daily visual miracles of the Sea and Sky, or the flora & fauna of the moors that change with the seasons. While I may start with an idea or a specific image, it’s where shapes & forms take on lives of their own that often surprises me. It is as if what emerges as a finished design was there the whole time, with its own energy, just waiting to be released.” Commission work is a specialty. “I believe that all jewelry has a story & I love being part of the process of creating that story—whether it be designing a wedding ring, scouting out a special stone, researching a family crest, or recycling a sentimental but dated piece & giving it new life.”
